Oil prices stabilize, with Brent crude trading below $74

Oil prices stabilized during Monday’s trading as the risk of U.S. supply disruptions from Hurricane Rafael subsided and Chinese financial measures failed to boost investor sentiment on growth prospects in the world’s second-largest economy.

Benchmark Brent crude futures for January delivery steadied at $73.94 per barrel as of 9:34 AM Mecca time. U.S. WTI crude futures for December delivery also held steady at $70.35 per barrel
